Chauk Branch Opening

MJI again Expanding Microfinance Business in Myanmar. We has opened a new Branch at Chauk Township of Magwe State on 16th December 2019.

Chauk is a town and river port in Magway Region, north-central Myanmar, on the Irrawaddy River and also the city where oil is produced in Myanmar. Most of the people in Chauk are government staff ,and others are making traditional business like Myanmar bean paste business, Parpalar bean snak business and tarmarind candy business.

We will support the financial need of clients’s business and social need in daily life of clients at Chauk and providing with not only a loan but also free social magazine ‘Mango!’. We strongly believe that MJI can contribute to the improvement the life of people in Chauk city.
